CLILNetLE COST Action CLIL Network for Languages in Education: Towards bi- and multilingual disciplinary literacies is happy to announce the opening of the current call for application for ITC (inclusiveness target countries) conference grants - Grant 2024.

We are offering financial support for researchers to present findings from the Action at major international conferences, as well as targeted conferences on CLIL, Subject Didactics and (if well argued) other relevant conferences. We are focusing our support on presentations reporting results related to Deliverables 3, 6, 7 and 8.

• Scope:

ITC conference grants consist of financial support to Young Researchers and Innovators affiliated with institutions in an Inclusiveness Target Country or Near Neighbour Country to present their work from this Action and related to the Action theme.

• Period:

The conferences eligible for the ITC Conference Grants have to take place before October 31st, 2024.

• Number of grants available:

Minimum 3 ITC grants

• Financial Support:

Maximum 2000€ for face to face events.

Maximum 500€ for online events.

• Selection criteria:

 Presentation of original papers or posters reporting on findings and results which are clearly connected to CA21114, especially with regard to Deliverables, 3, 6, 7 and 8, plus development with regard to the “conceptualisation of DL” (in line with WG1) and “teacher-education on DL” (in line with WG5).

 Preference will be given to:

o Young researchers and innovators (<40 years old)

o Papers being submitted to high profile conferences with competitive peer-review

o Researchers from ITCs

• Application deadline:

29th March 2024

• How to apply

1. Fill in the appropriate application form (template available on e-COST) /specifying the amount needed alongside a specific list of estimated expenses (annotated rules 97, 102))

2. Fill in e-COST form (https://e-services.cost.eu/)

3. Uploaded to e-COST system:

• Application form

• Copy of the abstract of the accepted oral or poster presentation

• Acceptance letter from the conference organisers.

• Obligations:

Grantees commit to write a post on the blog or twitter and send pictures of the presentation during the event for the social media network.

• Reporting and claim for payment of the grant

Upon the conclusion of the conference, within 30 days after the end of the activity, or, for activities taking place in October 2024, by 15th November 2024, the grantees have to submit the following via e-COST system

 The claim for the payment of the grant is made via e-COST system

 Report to the Action MC on the contacts made and potential for future collaborations

 The certificate of attendance, or the programme of the conference or book of abstracts / proceedings indicating the presentation of the grantee

 Copy of the given presentation (ppt).

Clarifications:

Grantees must make their own arrangements for all provisions related to personal security, health, taxation, social security and pension matters.
