Eliciting Teachers’ Perspectives on Disciplinary Literacies: A Semi Structured Interview

This semi-structured interview was developed as part of the CLILNetLE COST Action to investigate how teachers across different subject areas perceive and enact disciplinary literacies, particularly within CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) contexts, given CLIL’s inherently multilingual educational settings. It aims to elicit educators’ beliefs and classroom practices in relation to the five dimensions identified in the project’s Initial Operationalization of Disciplinary Literacies, foregrounding teacher voice in discussions about content, language, cognition, and culture. The interview is structured to be responsive and dialogic, enabling teachers to share their perspectives freely. Although the questions target these specific dimensions, the classification of teachers’ responses is not predetermined.
